Regional, int’l artistes to headline Gospel Fest

KINGSTOWN, St. Vincent – Several regional and international artistes are slated to perform during this year’s Gospel Fest.

The festival will be held from March 31 to April 29 under the theme “A Glorious Celebration of the Gospel of Jesus Christ”, the organising committee has announced.

The theme for the 10th anniversary of the event is inspired by Romans 1:16

The festival opens with fireworks on March 31 during an event dubbed “A Glorious Celebration”, featuring singer and preacher Bishop John C. Taylor of Canada and D.J. Nicholas of Jamaica.

April 1 will be “A Night of Glorious Worship” again featuring Taylor and worship teams from around St. Vincent and the Grenadines.

Some Zonal Gospel Showcases will be held from April 6 to 8, with Gospelympics on April 9.

Zonal Gospel Showcases continue April 13 to 15, featuring Miraclettes of Barbados.

The Zonal Gospel Showcases from April 20 to 22 will feature Vincentian artiste, former calypsonian Papa Das in Bequia and Soul Winners out of Barbados.

Two national showcases will be held on April, featuring Damitha Haddon out of the USA and Bishop John Cline of the Virgin Islands.

The April 29 National Gospel Showcase will feature BET Gospel winner Jessica Reedy of the USA and Bishop Cline.

  1. I hope they are not going to drink a whole lot of Hairoun beer during the fest. Isn’t that what Gonsalves told us they do?

Is this a Gospel Fest, or a German style Beer Fest?

Did Gondsalves ever correct or apologise for what he said?
