Boy, 14, dies in Boxing Day accident

KINGSTOWN, St. Vincent – Tragedy has struck during the four-day Christmas holidays here.

Reports indicate that a 14-year-old boy died on Monday, Boxing Day, when he was involved in a motor vehicle accident in La Croix, in the Mesopotamia Valley.

According to information reaching I-Witness News, the boy was struck by a vehicle reportedly driven by a police officer.

Vincentian students are on vacation until January and workers will return to their jobs on Wednesday. Tuesday was declared a holiday, since Christmas was on Sunday.

  2. Can you investigate reports of the implicated officer threatening to arrest the grieving father for questioning the speed at which the police automobile was driving?
