KINGSTOWN, St. Vincent – Tragedy has struck during the four-day Christmas holidays here.
Reports indicate that a 14-year-old boy died on Monday, Boxing Day, when he was involved in a motor vehicle accident in La Croix, in the Mesopotamia Valley.
According to information reaching I-Witness News, the boy was struck by a vehicle reportedly driven by a police officer.
Vincentian students are on vacation until January and workers will return to their jobs on Wednesday. Tuesday was declared a holiday, since Christmas was on Sunday.
